anti-Field of Dreams
It seems like just a couple of days ago that we found out utility bills for Iowans were going to be a lot lower thanks to the tax reform plan that Rod Blum voted for.
Oh wait, it was just a couple of days ago. Weird. Anyway – today a company based in the land of the Field of Dreams announced that they were giving bonuses to each of their workers thanks to the GOP tax reform bill.
This week is turning out to be a really rough one for Abby Finkenauer, who is anti-lower utility bills and now wants to crush middle class workers’ Fields of Dreams (which of course involves lower taxes and more $ bonuses.) Throughout the last 3 months, Abby has been extremely vocal on Twitter in her extreme opposition to lower taxes on the middle class.
The general manager of Dyersville Die Cast emphasized that these surprise bonuses would not have happened if Democrats like Abby Finkenauer had their way.
From the Telegraph Herald: “During the meeting, Willits took the time to highlight the political background of the tax bill, emphasizing the Democratic members of Congress that voted against the bill.
“I cannot understand why any politician would want to not put money in the pockets of workers,” Willits said during the meeting.
He later encouraged the employees to vote in upcoming elections but did not directly endorse any specific party or candidate. He noted that the company plans to consider continuing the monthly bonus checks after the initial period.”
