this is an alternative fact
Yesterday, Nancy Pelosi doubled down on her crumby rhetoric on tax reform. “A banquet for everyone up here. Crumbs for people down here. I’ll repeat that.”
Guess which candidate has been on Pelosi’s anti-lower taxes team since day one? Elissa Slotkin.
Slotkin has railed against tax reform from the very beginning, saying: “I have said from the beginning: I am in support of tax reform that will actually help working Americans. But this bill simply does not live up to the rhetoric.”
Slotkin is suffering from a bad case of alternative facts. The reality is that one of Michigan’s largest companies, Fiat Chrysler, is investing ONE BILLION in its Michigan plant, relocating its plant from Mexico, and giving its employees $2,000 bonuses – all thanks to that *Armageddon* tax bill that Mike Bishop voted for.
Moving jobs from Mexico to the United States and putting $2,000 extra dollars in the pockets of middle-class Americans? CRUMBS!
It’s no surprise that Shady Slotkin is out of touch with Michigan’s working class – she’s already been pegged as a Washington insider, since DC was her home until Nancy Pelosi flew her to Michigan to run for Congress.
