NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers’ Statement on Congressman Tom Rooney’s Retirement

NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding FL-17 Congressman Tom Rooney’s retirement:

“Tom Rooney brought a vast set of skills to Congress—from his experience in the Attorney General’s office to his work in the private sector. As CEO of The Children’s Place at Home Safe, he provided care and shelter for children who needed it the most. He is deeply respected in Congress, I thank him for his service, and I wish him and his family luck in their future endeavors,” said NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

“The NRCC is confident we will keep control of this seat in November.”
