Far-left progressive Kara Eastman is taking the gloves off in the NE-2 Democratic primary, telling News Channel Nebraska:

• “[Ashford’s] taken contradictory stands on almost every important issue over his long political career.”
• “People in the district tell me they are unhappy with Ashford’s voting record.”
• “They also feel like he is not in it to win it.”

I think what Kara really means here is that Nebraska Democrats have two choices: a flip-flopping, milquetoast career politician, or a far-left true believer and Bernie Sanders acolyte.

The truth hurts. But if even Democrats are noticing Brad Ashford’s lazy, low-energy campaign is in danger of repeating his performance in 2016… that’s a big problem.
