In Texas’ Seventh Congressional District, the DCCC just can’t help themselves when it comes to repeatedly stepping in it.

First, they published opposition research on Laura Moser before the primary, a move that backfired so badly it propelled her to the runoff.

Today, they accidentally sent out a release announcing what we already knew: they’re supporting Moser’s opponent, Lizzie Fletcher. Then they issued a correction saying that was not the case.

“If giving Laura Moser continued reasons to run against the Washington establishment and propel her progressive primary bid is the DCCC’s mission, they’re doing a bang-up job. If they’re trying to tank her candidacy like they’ve repeatedly claimed; not so much.” -NRCC Spokesman Jack Pandol
