Dan Kohl’s Pelosi problem
April 30, 2018
Dan Kohl is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the 6th District.
Over the weekend, Kohl claimed that he wouldn’t support Nancy Pelosi as leader of the Democrats. That’s about as believable as when he said he wouldn’t have to raise taxes to pay for a $32 trillion single-payer health care system…
The idea of former D.C. lobbyist Dan Kohl trying to distance himself from the Washington establishment is laughable:
- He served on national finance committees for John Kerry, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton.
- After losing his 2008 Assembly race, Kohl moved to Washington and founded the left-wing J Street PAC to lobby for the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
Now that he’s gone public against Pelosi, will Dan Kohl refuse outside spending from the organizations she finances – including the DCCC and House Majority PAC?
