Nancy Pelosi just made it 100% clear – she is not going anywhere, and Democrats wanting new leadership are just going to have to deal with it.
Speaking to the Boston Globe, Pelosi said: “I will run for speaker. I feel confident about it. And my members do, too… I have no intention of walking away from that table.”
That could make for a particularly interesting squabble in the already nasty Democratic primary in Texas’ 7th District, where the Pelosi-funded DCCC went nuclear on progressive Laura Moser and ended up elevating her to the runoff.
Now that we know Pelosi is sticking around, where are Moser and the establishment-backed Lizzie Fletcher on this issue?
