To the disappointment of many Dems, Nancy Pelosi just confirmed her plans to run for Speaker.

Speaking to the Boston Globe, she boasted “We will win. I will run for speaker. I feel confident about it. And my members do, too.” – Nancy Pelosi

Pelosi’s announcement must be a heavy burden on John Heenan.

Just this past weekend, he remarked that he “will not support Nancy Pelosi. She’s a weight on any candidate.” – John Heenan

This isn’t the first time Heenan disavowed a potential Pelosi Speakership bid.

Heenan’s stark rejection of Pelosi as Speaker, followed by Pelosi’s vow to run, begs the question, will John Heenan continue to distance himself from Nancy Pelosi? Or will he give into the pressure and support her?
