ICYMI: The DCCC and several Democratic outside groups upped their buys in several Southern California congressional races, totaling over $1.5 million this week alone.

The goal? To drag one of their baggage-laden candidates through and avoid the nightmare lockout scenario.

Democrats have crowed for months about these “must have” congressional districts falling to their column. But this clearly isn’t the position of strength they’ve been forecasting.

What does it say about California Democrats that they are so divided, it will take several million dollars all told just to drag one candidate to the general election starting line?
