NRCC Statement on CA Gas Tax Repeal Qualifying for November Ballot

WASHINGTON – The NRCC issued the following statement after the California gas tax repeal initiative qualified for the November ballot.

“On the same day Senator Ling Ling Chang takes office, California voters will officially have the opportunity to reject California Democrats’ regressive gas tax. It’s becoming clearer every day Josh Newman’s double-digit defeat was a canary in the coal mine for California Democrats.” -NRCC Spokesman Jack Pandol
