Over the past week, we have seen just how radical and extreme the Democratic party has become.

The Democratic party has now become the party where:

• Facing a barrage of bad headlines for politicizing a deadly shooting earns you a Bernie Sanders endorsement a week later.
• A senior party leader called on supporters to harass members of the Administration and won’t apologize.
• Abolishing ICE is a legitimate policy proposal.
• Voters nominated a Socialist Democrat, who supports impeaching President Donald Trump, rather than a veteran in House Leadership.

Democrats vying for the seat in KS-03 haven’t weighed in on these issues. Do they agree with Maxine Waters’ comments? Think ICE needs to be abolished? Support impeaching the President?

These issues matter to Kansas City voters and as the most extreme Democratic field the district has ever seen, these candidates have an obligation to weigh in on what’s happening within their radicalized party.
