As you may have seen, Barack Obama announced a round of endorsements for the 2018 cycle.
Of his six endorsements in North Carolina, one name was notably missing: Kathy Manning.
Manning and her husband donated over $65,000 to Obama over the years. Even with that kind of support, Obama found Kathy’s campaign so unappealing he skipped right over her.
Despite her best efforts to buy the NC-13 seat, Obama demonstrated something Kathy should learn: that there are some things you just can’t buy.
