NRCC Statement on TN-02 Primary

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers released the following statement regarding Tim Burchett’s victory in the TN-02 primary:

“Congratulations to Mayor Tim Burchett on winning the Republican primary in Tennessee’s 2nd Congressional district. His entire career has been focused on lowering taxes for Tennesseans, and I’m looking forward to him joining us in Congress and continuing his legacy. The NRCC is confident Tim Burchett will be elected in November.”
