Cutting Military Funding?

How far will Democrats go in compromising Americans’ safety?

Speaking at a defense conference, Democrat and Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Adam Smith had a few thoughts on military spending:

If Democrats take control of Congress, Smith—the presumed Armed Services Chairman—would undoubtedly cut military spending amidst a universally-held readiness crisis that is costing lives. Any cut to this spending would gut support and resources for our troops and military families.

Democrats like Amy McGrath in KY-06, Richard Ojeda in WV-03, and MJ Hegar in TX-31, all of whom are running on their military experience, must answer for their party’s misguided agenda: why would you break faith with our troops?
