50 Days Out

Today marks 50 days from Election Day 2018. November 6^th will be a testament to Americans’ enthusiasm for the Republican Party and the promises it kept to the American people.

Through policy initiatives, House Republicans have worked to improve the lives of American people, and as a result, Americans are better off now.

• Thanks to tax reform, millions of workers have received pay raises and bonuses, companies have expanded, and this pro-growth overhaul has kickstarted our economy. With new incentives, American businesses are thriving, and the country is seeing record high GDP and record low unemployment. Individuals and families see new-and-improved tax credits like the child tax credit, and new withholding tables have led to bigger paychecks.
• Our military is receiving the pay it needs to protect and defend our homeland. Service members and veterans are receiving the support and care they’ve earned.
• The House has passed 57 comprehensive bills to fight the opioid epidemic through aid to victims, strengthened medical support programs, and providing first responders and police forces with the tools they need.
• Republicans have led the charge against misconduct in the workplace, passing measures to protect employees and encourage victims to come forward.

In stark contrast to the days of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and her failed agenda, House Republicans have made peace and prosperity their priorities. Those left behind by Pelosi’s leadership are now able to thrive. As our nation’s great comeback continues, Americans cannot afford to go back to the days of Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.
