I don’t have an answer for that at this time
Last night’s IPTV debate made one thing extremely clear: Cindy Axne would be an incredible asset on a dodgeball team.
Axne was asked if she 1) supports Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All plan, 2) would vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker, and 3) would vote to impeach the President. She refused to answer all 3 questions.
On Pelosi (video here):
Moderator Erin Murphy: “Is a vote for you a vote for House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi?”
Cindy Axne: “I’ve seen a heck of a lot of ads, and quite honestly, they’re all false.
Moderator: “But you have said that you agree with the Minority Leader on most topics, is that not accurate?”
Cindy Axne: “That’s another false claim that was taken out of context…”
Host David Yepsen: “Excuse me, let me put a finer point on it: will you vote for Nancy Pelosi for Speaker if you’re elected to congress?”
Cindy Axne: “Well…I’ll tell you what…right now I’m focused on winning this race…”
On impeachment (video here):
Moderator Kay Henderson: “If you are elected and Democrats take the majority, there may be an effort to impeach President Trump. Would you vote to impeach the President?”
Cindy Axne: “I don’t have an answer for that at this time.”
She won’t tell voters this just yet, so I will: it’s clear from last night that Cindy Axne would vote to give the Speaker’s gavel back to Nancy Pelosi and she would vote to impeach the President.
