This afternoon, Sharice Davids reminded us where she stands on health care: with Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren and behind a single payer government program.

This is the same European-style system we’ve seen fail time after time. With a single-payer health care system, expect the following problems:

• cost taxpayers a whopping $32 TRILLION
• force 1.5 million Kansans off their employer provided health insurance
• increase wait times to an average of 21.2 weeks
• hasten Medicare’s insolvency
• give complete government control of your hospital, doctors, and prescriptions

Single-payer would put the burden of our health care system on the backs of hard working Kansans. How can Sharice support this knowing it would suffocate the middle class?
