Collin Peterson: Ban the Wall!

Collin Peterson sure didn’t take long to fall in line with the radical Democrats now controlling his party and their obsession with open borders!

After dutifully following the decrees of Nancy Pelosi and her far-left leadership team to keep the government shut down rather than secure our border, Peterson today voted for a bill that actually bans border wall funding. The bill, HR 268, contains a provision introduced by Massachusetts Democrat and Elizabeth Warren toady Jim McGovern that bans the Army Corps of Engineers or Department of Homeland Security from using any funding to “plan, develop, or construct the border wall.”

NRCC Comment: “As one of the highest ranking Democrats, Minnesotans expect Collin Peterson to be leading efforts to work across the aisle, but instead he chose illegal immigrants over national security with his vote to ban the wall today. It’s clear Peterson can’t be trusted to do what’s right for Minnesotans as he continues to disappoint time and time again.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Carly Atchison
