TJ’s embarrassing subcommittee hearing

We all know how excited TJ Cox was to take on the climate change deniers today during his FIRST HEARING as Chair of the Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

TJ tweeted about it A LOT. Like here, here, here and here.

But I guess TJ’s fellow Democrats on the committee aren’t as excited to battle climate change…because TJ couldn’t even get them to show up!

So, Republicans adjourned the meeting to give TJ time to twist some arms.

PS: A helpful hint for when emailing TJ’s press office. According to TJ’s communications director, TJ should ONLY be referred to as Congressman Cox. It might help you land an interview with TJ!! You’re welcome.
