Slotkin’s winning approach

Throughout the campaign, Elissa Slotkin had a lot to say about the importance of passing a federal budget. She even called her approach to the federal budget “a point of real difference” between herself and her Republican opponent.

And here’s what she says on her website: “Crafting a budget for the federal government is one of the most fundamental duties of the U.S. Congress.”

Now that she is in Congress, however, Slotkin and her party refuse to even propose a federal budget.
