Following their glitzy retreat, the socialist Dems had grand dreams of hitting the reset button on a disastrous first 100 days, but the extremists who dominate their party made sure that’s not going to happen.
 
Here’s a recap of the news since they departed:

• Democrats near unanimously backed Ilhan Omar amid her latest controversy where she dismissively characterized the 9/11 terror attacks as “some people did some things.” Most notably, when asked to address Omar’s vile comments, Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee Bennie Thompson said “I saw nothing wrong.” Yikes.
   
• Despite refusing to crack down on unlawful sanctuary cities, House Democrats threw a temper tantrum when faced with the reality of illegal immigrants being sent to the sanctuary cities they support. What’s that about practicing what you preach?
   
• To top it all off, Nancy Pelosi did an interview with 60 Minutes claiming the socialists following Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s lead make up “like, five people.” So how does she explain the 91 House Democrats who have cosponsored a $93 trillion socialist takeover of the economy and the 108 House Democrats who have cosponsored a $32 trillion socialist takeover of our health care?
