Big Mama’s Gladys Harrison: Everyday Americans are criminals

The DCCC’s top recruit in Nebraska, ex-con Gladys Harrison of Big Mama’s Kitchen, responded to revelations about her criminal past this weekend, saying her jail time just makes her an “everyday American.”

Harrison explained that she just helped her friend steal a microwave, nothing major, and she felt guilty while she was sitting in jail. She elaborated that her criminal record, bench warrants and newly discovered bankruptcy just means she has “the same experiences as most everyday Americans,” and makes her the best person for the job.

No comment from Kara Eastman and Ann Ashford on the DCCC pushing them aside in favor of a convict.
