Sean Casten votes against banning fentanyl
January 30, 2020
Sean Casten voted AGAINST a bipartisan measure to extend a federal ban on fentanyl – a synthetic opioid that in one year killed over 32,000 Americans.
Apparently, the bill was too tough on drug dealers.
In Illinois, fentanyl has taken 1,300 lives.
In Cook County alone, 202 lives were lost to fentanyl.
While fentanyl kills our friends, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, wives and husbands, Sean Casten is more worried about… drug dealers.
