POLL: Garcia leading in CA-25
A new poll spells big trouble for career politician Christy Smith in California’s 25th Congressional District. The poll shows former fighter pilot Mike Garcia leading Smith by four points, 43 percent to 39 percent.
The new numbers are an embarrassing failure for the DCCC and House Majority PAC. The organizations spent nearly $1 million working to prevent Mike Garcia from making the runoff.

His poll, conducted by the firm 1892, has Garcia at 43 percent to Democrat Christy Smith’s 39 percent. The special election is scheduled for May (500 likely special election voters; March 8-11; +/- 4.38 percentage point MOE).
