Stevens says Dems not asking for wish list

Haley Stevens says House Democrats aren’t asking for a wish list in an emergency coronavirus funding bill. 

She’s lying. The proposal put forward by Stevens and Pelosi is crammed full of completely unrelated policies like funding for a $35 million Washington, DC opera house and $1 billion for renewable jet fuel.

Is funding for the opera really worth lying to your constituents and holding up critical aid that will save peoples’ lives?
