During today’s candidate forum, Christy Smith claimed to be leading on California’s response to the coronavirus.
In reality, Christy Smith is the chair of California’s Joint Legislative Committee on Emergency Management and still hasn’t held a hearing on COVID-19.
It also took 28 days from the day Governor Newsom declared a state of emergency to the day Emergency Management Chairwoman Christy Smith held her first tele-town hall for constituents on coronavirus.
