Finkenauer touts Green New Deal support

Abby Finkenauer penned an op-ed yesterday touting her support for House Democrats’ “Invest in America Act,” which is really just an Orwellian name for their latest attempt to enact socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s insane Green New Deal.

Finkenauer’s bill, which pretends to be about highways, would spend at least $123 billion on Green New Deal-related provisions, including electric car charging stations, “zero emission” buses and developing “low-carbon materials” for highway construction.

Instead of working on the transportation needs of Iowans or supporting the state’s ethanol industry, Finkenauer is laser-focused on her party’s socialist agenda.
