NRCC Chairman Emmer Statement on the TX-24 Primary Runoff Election

WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the TX-24 primary runoff election:

“As a self-described Elizabeth Warren-style Democrat, Candace Valenzuela is far too extreme for Texas. Her anti-oil agenda would put countless Texans out of work, and her far-left stances on illegal immigration and guns are dangerous and wildly out of step with this district. I have no doubt Beth Van Duyne will win in November and I look forward to serving with her in Congress.”
