Lizzie Fletcher silent on Biden fracking ban

Joe Biden just delivered on another one of his campaign promises, placing a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on public lands. 

These leases account for 25% of the United States’ crude oil output and a ban on new leases could cost 60,000 jobs and $800 million in public funding for services such as public schools and first responders. 

Yet, Lizzie Fletcher, who has spoken numerous times about the importance of domestic oil and gas production, is silent as Joe Biden implements these job-killing energy policies in the middle of a pandemic. 

Why won’t Fletcher stand up for Texas jobs?
