Spanberger, #1 recipient of teacher union money ignores science on reopening schools

 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is out with a new study showing there has been little evidence that schools have contributed meaningfully to increased transmission of the coronavirus.  

But teachers unions across the country, including in Virginia, are refusing to show up to work despite a “striking drop in students’ academic performance” and a surge in student suicide.  

Last night at her town hall, Abigail Spanberger sided with the teacher unions implying schools should only reopen once teachers are vaccinated, despite the science showing schools should reopen now.

Teachers unions contributed over $27K to Abigail in 2020—making her the largest recipient of their money—that’s even more than Nancy Pelosi.
