Will Sean Patrick Maloney hold Cuomo accountable for COVID corruption?

The New York Times reported today that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo dramatically undercounted COVID-19 deaths in the state’s nursing homes, with the actual number of deaths potentially being 50% higher than he’s told the public.

New York Democrats like Sean Patrick Maloney have been quiet as Cuomo ordered nursing homes to accept COVID-19 patients and refused to disclose the death count in the state’s facilities. In fact, Maloney has previously gushed about Cuomo’s COVID response, saying he’s “very impressed with the way the governor’s handled this.”

Now that Gov. Cuomo’s blatant corruption is on display, will Sean Patrick Maloney hold him accountable, or will he let Cuomo continue playing partisan politics with New Yorkers’ lives?
