Teachers unions buying Porter’s whiteboard?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is out with a new study showing there has been little evidence that schools have contributed meaningfully to increased transmission of the coronavirus.  

But teachers unions across California are refusing to show up to work despite a “striking drop in students’ academic performance” and a surge in student suicide.  

Even Gavin Newsom is growing frustrated with teachers unions, but Katie Porter has remained largely silent on the issue. 

Teachers unions contributed $21,844 to Porter’s campaign in 2020. 

Is Porter afraid of losing union support if she speaks out against them?
