Voters don’t want Dems’ corrupt COVID package

February 24, 2021

Democrats’ $1.9 trillion corrupt COVID package is proving unpopular with everyday Americans, who would rather see real COVID relief than unnecessary funding toward Democrats’ socialist agenda.

A new poll found that 65 percent of respondents preferred targeted relief measures focusing “on only the highest priorities of COVID relief like vaccine distribution and opening schools.”

But that’s likely not going to stop Tom Suozzi, Sean Patrick Maloney, and Antonio Delgado from voting for the $1.9 trillion boondoggle that contains more than $1 trillion in spending that has nothing to do with the pandemic – including financial assistance for illegal immigrants, millions of dollars to teachers unions, politicians’ pet projects, and more.

NRCC Comment: “Tom Suozzi, Sean Patrick Maloney, and Antonio Delgado are choosing Democrat special interests over their own constituents with their support for this $1.9 trillion corrupt COVID package. Suozzi, Maloney, and Delgado would rather play partisan games than provide real COVID relief that New Yorkers want and deserve.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
