Suozzi and Maloney are weak
Nearly every day we learn new information about Andrew Cuomo’s multiple instances of corruption.
And every day, Tom Suozzi and Sean Patrick Maloney stay silent like cowards.
Perhaps they, like New York’s State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, are waiting for one more woman to accuse Cuomo of sexual harassment before asking for his resignation (because three is okay but four is too many)?
Or will the new Wall Street Journal report, which found that Cuomo forced state health officials to alter a public report to show fewer COVID deaths in nursing homes, inspire them to speak out?
Maybe they’re just excited to see their names on a list of potential replacements for Cuomo, and are hoping they can silently slither their way to statewide office.
NRCC Comment: “Standing up for New Yorkers against a man who killed nursing home residents, then covered it up, and who is accused of multiple instances of sexual harassment should be the easiest thing in the world, but Tom Suozzi and Sean Patrick Maloney are simply too weak to do it.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
