Biden tax hikes don’t go far enough for DeFazio

Joe Biden is proposing the “largest federal tax increase since 1942,” but drew the line at raising the gas tax or implementing a vehicle miles traveled (VMT) tax to fund Democrats’ multi-trillion dollar infrastructure plan. 

Even Biden knows how unpopular and regressive these policies would be. 

But House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chair Peter DeFazio has consistently supported a gas tax hike and says this VMT tax is “inevitable.”

How out of touch is DeFazio?
