Pappas wants CA to control NH elections

New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner is voicing his concern about Democrats’ HR1 bill, and it begs the question: did Chris Pappas know his vote for HR1 would hurt New Hampshire?

HR1 “takes away the constitution of the state,” jeopardizing New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary status.

And because HR1 would replace state election laws with those passed by Congress, it gives other states with bigger representation more control over New Hampshire elections than Granite Staters.

Other states like California.
