VA Beach employer: It’s a staffing crisis right now

The summer season at Virginia Beach will kick off in a few days but the hotel industry is hurting for employees.

John Zirkle, General Manager of a local Doubletree says, “It’s a staffing crisis right now. We are desperately searching for employees.”  And some hotels have had to close off rooms because there isn’t the staff to keep them up.

The Democrats’ $1.9 trillion socialist COVID relief bill that Elaine Luria voted for was suppose to get people back to work but instead it’s paying people to not work.

Virginia’s Democratic Governor Northam even had to reinstate weekly job search requirements to incentivize Virginians to work.

Elaine Luria’s socialist agenda isn’t helping the economy in VA-02, it’s destroying it.
