Texas Governor Greg Abbott is deploying state troopers and national guard to the southern border to combat cartels smuggling fentanyl across from Mexico.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reports, “after having no fentanyl seizures in 2017, 2018 and 2019, DPS seized 52 grams in 2020. So far this year, troopers have already seized 137 grams.”

It’s no coincidence the rise in smuggling correlates with the Biden Administration taking office in January, but Democrats refuse to acknowledge they created a border crisis and fix it.
