SPM is responsible for Dems’ unpopular pro-crime agenda

Back in April, Sean Patrick Maloney had a #MorningJoeMeltdown about Democrats’ embrace of Defunding the Police and accused Joe Scarborough of “repeating Republican talking points.”

But today Axios reports “Democrats, in private and public, are warning that rising crime — and the old and new progressive calls to defund the police — represent the single biggest threat to their electoral chances in 2022.”

Police are directly linking the spike in crime to Democrats’ anti-law enforcement agenda, especially in New York.

Will Maloney change course, or will he continue pretending the problem doesn’t exist as he leads House Democrats into the minority?
