July 14, 2021
NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement announcing the committee’s record-breaking fundraising haul: “We will take back the majority next fall and voters are doing everything they can to help us accomplish that goal. Our record-breaking fundraising total wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of Leader Kevin McCarthy, Whip Steve Scalise, our Republican conference, and the tens of thousands of generous donors who have contributed to our mission. Every vulnerable House Democrat should be eyeing the exits because if they choose to run, they will lose.” Inside the NRCC Numbers: – Raised $79.2M through June vs $44.5M in 2019. This is the best first-half fundraising total in committee history and a 78% increase from last cycle at this point. – Raised $20.1M in June, which is the NRCC’s 4th straight record-breaking month and the highest off-year month ever. – Raised $45.4M in Q2, the largest off-year quarter in committee history. – $55M cash on hand vs. $25.6M in 2019.
