REMINDER: Suozzi chose Cuomo over victims

August 3, 2021

New York Attorney General Letitia James released a bombshell report today concluding that Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, including employees in his office.

The probe into the allegations against Cuomo began in March – and at the time, “dozens of Democratic state lawmakers…urged the governor to resign.”

But not Tom Suozzi.

At the time, Suozzi said only that Cuomo should “consider whether he can effectively continue to govern,” saying nothing of Cuomo’s victims.

NRCC Comment: “Tom Suozzi was on the wrong side of history when he chose to side with a sexual predator over victims, and he owes a public apology for his failure to do the right thing when he had a chance.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Samantha Bullock
