Last night’s data is disastrous for Luria and Spanberger

Elaine Luria and Abigail Spanberger should be terrified this morning after Democrats’ shellacking in Virginia.

Here’s what we know:

• In 2020, Elaine Luria won VA-02 by 5.8% but last night Glenn Youngkin won it by 8.3%–a 14-point swing.
• In suburban Virginia Beach City, Luria won by 6.1% in 2020 and last night Youngkin won by 8%, another 14-point swing.
• Additionally, Republicans flipped two delegate seats in VA-02. 
• In 2020, Abigail Spanberger won VA-07 by 1.8% but last night Youngkin won by 15.4%. That’s almost a 17-point swing.

And let’s not forget Spanberger said, “so goes Virginia, so goes the nation!”
