Gottheimer & Sherrill pretend to care about inflation

Punchbowl reports Josh Gottheimer and Mikie Sherrill are now pretending to take inflation seriously by writing a letter to party leaders asking them to pass a meaningless messaging bill.

One thing Gottheimer and Sherrill don’t acknowledge in their meaningless letter: Democrats are responsible for the inflation crisis.

Josh Gottheimer and Mikie Sherrill voted for the American Rescue Plan, which Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco says is stoking inflation.  

And they voted for Build Back Better, a bill that even Democrats acknowledge will exacerbate “inflationary pressures.”
