Chicago schools shut down as IL Dems fold to big donors

Chicago Public Schools are closed, thanks to the Chicago Teachers Union.

Last night, 73% of the union voted not to show up for work today, forcing more than 340,000 students to stay home.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot admitted, “There is no basis in the data, the science or common sense for us to shut an entire system down…”

Still, Illinois Democrats Sean Casten and Marie Newman have said nothing, as their big union donors force children and parents to suffer.
