Levin’s Year in Review proves he’s delusional

January 7, 2022

Mike Levin penned an op-ed for the Dana Point Times calling 2021 a year of “incredible progress” for Orange County.

Levin cites “the number of Americans filing for unemployment reached its lowest point since 1969” but the reality is California has the highest unemployment rate in the United States.

Levin touts the American Rescue Plan legislation he voted for as providing “relief to struggling families, frontline workers, and local schools and businesses,” but the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco says the legislation is “stoking inflation,” causing the price of everyday goods like gas and groceries to soar.

Levin didn’t even bother mentioning the exorbitant price of gas in California. As of New Year’s Eve, gas cost an average of $4.65 per gallon in Orange County — $1.442 higher than one year ago, and prices are expected to increase to over $5 per gallon in 2022.

NRCC COMMENT: “Mike Levin must think his constituents are stupid if he expects them to buy his sunny 2021 year in review.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair
