How will Schrader explain this one

Remember when Kurt Schrader said no one is trying to defund the police?

Well after President Biden tried to separate Democrats from their policy of defunding police departments last night, Schrader’s Democrat colleague Cori Bush did the opposite.

Bush tweeted, “[a]ll our country has done is given more funding to police. The result? 2021 set a record for fatal police shootings. Defund the police. Invest in our communities.”

Does Schrader care to explain who he meant by “no one?”
