“Why did we want to pay somebody else to give us the oil?”

Gas prices in Maine have been steadily climbing over the past year thanks to Democrats’ war on energy, and now after a winter of paying skyrocketing home heating costs, Mainers are paying an all-time high $4.19 per gallon.

One Maine consumer said, “we could fix this pretty quick. I mean, we’ve got all the oil we need right here in America. Why did we want to pay somebody else to give us the oil?”

REMINDER: Jared Golden supported a permanent moratorium on offshore drilling as recently as 2019.
