Defund the Police “lives on in Seattle”

Bloomberg reports Amazon is moving 1,800 employees out of their downtown Seattle office due to excessive crime.

Despite seeing a 20% increase in violent crime last year, Seattle City Council cut more than $7 million from police funding.  

The WSJ Editorial Board wrote, “Democrats elsewhere may be fleeing the defund the police movement, but it lives on in Seattle.”

What will it take for Washington Democrat Kim Schrier to stand up for the safety of residents and condemn her party’s “defund the police” movement?
