Seattle assault cases go unassigned after Dems defund police

A recent report revealed Seattle’s police force is so understaffed that “not a single sexual assault case involving an adult victim was assigned to a detective” last month.

Seattle City Council recently cut more than $7 million from police funding after already defunding police by 20% the year prior.

Since then, the number of deployable officers in Seattle went from 1,281 to only 958.
