Malinowski gaslights on gas

New Jerseyans are seeing one of the largest increases in gas prices in the nation, and all they want are solutions.

But all Tom Malinowski can provide are excuses:

• On February 22, Malinowski blamed the crown prince of Saudi Arabia: “You know one reason why the price of gas is high right now? I’m not a hundred percent sure, but I’m pretty confident of this. Because Mohammad bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, is angry that Joe Biden won’t meet him in the White House.”  

• On April 21, Malinowski blamed Russia: “The number two exporter of oil and natural gas in the world, Russia, goes offline as it has in the last couple of months, leading to these price shocks.”

• On May 7, Malinowski blamed the pandemic AND Ukraine in the same breath: “And some of that, as far as gas prices…is rooted in what happened during the two years of the pandemic, and right now, a central part of the problem is the war in Ukraine.”
